I have been invited to speak with the man himself next month.
This is one of the most exciting things that has ever happened to me.

Do we have any Mega Man fans here.
My japanese sucks but I'll accept suggestions as to what to ask him whilst I try to think of something myself.

Holy crap. Who'd have thought?
Yay Xnfe!

Naturally!

"Does this smell of chloroform to you?" is always a good opener.

How did you end up talking with Keiji Inafune?

He's going to speak at one of the schools I might be attending after I finish Japanese classes next year and there is to be a meet and greet afterwards. I don't know the details so I might get stiffed but I was promised he'd be there.
Yay Xnfe!

He was there.
He held a lengthy talk about how the Japanese suck creativly and we should probably all go home if we thought for 2 seconds we didn't have what it takes.

No meet n greet, just question time. People without questions where not whelcome at comcept, he made that clear and still only a hand full of us raised our hands.
I asked if his favourit game at the moment was one of his own or not.
He said of course he has one but no game is perfect which drives him to make new ones.

I don't know if counts as avoiding the question but it's the answer I wanted.

I still can't belive I spoke to the Keiji Inafune. I'm so starstruck.
Yay Xnfe!
